the kitchen we asked for is not what was "designed" for us, we were pressured into signing a contract for a kitchen we didnt want but we foolishly signed, then when we tried to cancel immediately after they sent us the first email (3 days after), they say we cannot cancel. none of this information was told to us while discussing the contract or in writing in the contract (just reference to the cbw rules). So now we have to pay 30% or accept the kitchen.
A second visit proved beneficial and a new kitchen was design more inline with what we want and a price agreed but still would have just preferred being told our rights to cancel initially and then cancelling the contract in the first 2 days correctly so we weren’t pressured into anything.
Can only hope now the kitchen we get is worth the extra stress and the rest goes smoothly.
Beware when buying a kitchen from anyone, don’t sign the contract they push on you on the first meeting. You cannot cancel them without paying 30% (5% if it’s in 2 days and they are cbw approved)
